Rachael Bailey,
|
I started majorettes when I was 13. Unfortunately the troupe closed and I decided to set up my own troupe at the age of 15 with the help of my mum. RJ's majorettes was created in 1998 and performed mainly in the local community at schools, fun days and carnivals. In 2003 we set up Bolton Red Rose Majorettes to enter competitions. I am extremely proud of my 2 troupes and their members, we seem to be growing from strength to strength each year. I currently train Tinies, Juniors, Seniors & Twirl Academy lessons. I still enjoy dancing and am looking to continue my development through for many years to come!
Rachael has completed the Yorkshire Carnival Association, Twirl Academy, Trainers Seminar for:

My involvement with the ajorettes began in 2000 when I met Rachael. I was really impressed with the talent shown by the children and wanted to help out in any way I could. I help with grant applications and general administration duties. I also develop the websites for the troupes.
I really enjoy being a DJ at the parties and disco's and playing my part in the troupe development.
